19w4d: Belly rubs

I always assumed pregnant women touched their stomachs to bond with their babies (or to gloat, depending on my emotional state at the time), but that's being called into question. Maybe it's just me, but when I touch I'm just trying to confirm that I still have an innie.

funny!
I do it out of absent-minded need to keep my hands doing something. That and it's a convenient shelf for my hands to sit.

Oh, yeah - and to bond. That too.

I think you should show us a photo of what you're referring to. :o)

I find myself touching my belly because 1) it really itches or 2)there is a foot/hand/shoulder wedged uncomfortably against my hip bone. Now when I touch my belly, the baby kicks, which is awesome, except when it is on my cervix (OW!).
