- P and I got married in the summer of 2005, three years after we got engaged. We started trying to conceive two years later and were incredibly lucky to succeed on the first try. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be, as there was something wrong with the baby's heart and it stopped beating. Miscarriage is super common, but we were still shocked it happened to us. This is our story -- a story of loss, trying again, and life in general.

Awww. I remember when he was that little.
It's amazing how fast they grow. I know this is a bittersweet moment for you. He is just so handsome!
Holy cow! I can't believe he's so big! We're going to be reaching that moment very soon, I think, but we're hoping to stretch the infant carrier out for another month, at least through our trip....
You got so much use out of it though! We said goodbye at like 10 weeks old (she hated that thing). Have I told you lately how beautiful Harry is?
It's amazing how small they are to start with and how big they get so fast! Yikes!

We did the same recently. I wish I had been smart like you and taken a full shot with her in it the first time. New babies look like Mr. Potato Heads in car seats.

Isn't it just amazing, though?
When I first put JAG in her carrier, it seemed she could never actually be big enough to fit snuggly in it, much less outgrow it. Now I am constantly having to adjust the straps!
He is growing so big!
It is all so fast at first!
